About Us
One of EYM TV's goals is to build a foundation that is youth-led and supported by parents and community members so that young media makers can mobilize together to create a sustainable foundation for the future, and to create a collective voice in their community. EYM-TV offers the youth and the public a wide range of programming primarily designed to show the community the how's and why's of local government. It links the public with city government officials in a forum that gives access to the process in an effort to encourage participation in the decisions of their government. Our mission is to provide the Seattle King County community viewing area with timely, accurate, and complete government information through online. Our vision is to connect the local community with the local government providing government and community news and information to Seattle and King County residents through online programming.
The ONE STOP ONLINE HEALTH CARE DIRECTORY is funded by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) for connecting and be a bridge the health and wellness information gap in underserved East African immigrant groups by creating a ONE-STOP ONLINE DIRECTORY with easy access features and translated languages for reaching the diverse East African groups in Seattle, King County. This electronic online tool is designed to meet the communities need for health care information and resources from local hospitals, community health centers, Department of Public Health King County, and the Washington State Health Care Authority.
