Empowering Future Multimedia Creators

At Ethio Youth Media, we offer a comprehensive program designed to prepare students for tasks associated with the design and creation of interactive Multimedia communication. Our program includes curriculum includes a variety of classroom instruction and workshops that provide students with essential skills in multimedia programming, digital video production, and other related technical subjects. By participating in our classes, students gain valuable experience and knowledge that can enhance their careers in the multimedia industry.

In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of video editing, including how to download video material, reorder scenes, and discard unwanted footage. They will also explore techniques for adding transitions, titles, graphics, sound effects, and background music to their projects. This hands-on approach allows students to develop their creativity and technical skills, preparing them for real-world multimedia production challenges.

This class introduces students to the professional video camera as both a technical and creative tool for communication and art. This course covers basic camera functions and operations, providing students with a solid foundation for creating high-quality video content. Participants will learn essential techniques, including lighting principles and effective audio capture methods. At the end of the class, students will take a short test to demonstrate their understanding, earning a Basic Camera Operation Certification.

In this class, students will learn how to write a script, produce a show on Ethio Youth Media TV, and promote on-air personalities. The course also covers video recording for television and interactive media markets, equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in the broadcasting industry. By the end of this class, students will have practical experience that can be applied to various media platforms.

This video offers a comprehensive overview of how our program operates. While the content may be straightforward, it provides students with the necessary information to navigate our facilities effectively. In addition to this orientation, the Basic Studio course covers camera operation, audio, and lighting techniques. Students will learn key functions such as switching, keying, titling, and green screen techniques, including the use of virtual sets. A short test will conclude the course, granting participants Basic Studio Certification, which allows them to reserve and utilize studio equipment for their productions.

Class Policies

Minimum Enrollment

Each of our classes has a minimum enrollment threshold. The required number of pre-paid students varies depending on the class. If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment, it will be canceled, and registered students will be contacted at the phone number they provided during registration. They are entitled to a refund or may choose to transfer their registration fee to another open class.

Cancellation Policy

Students who have paid in advance can receive a full refund if they cancel at least 24 hours before the class begins. They may also transfer their registration fee to a different class if space is available. However, students who cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not show up will not be eligible for a refund, and transfers will only be approved at the discretion of Ethio Youth Media. This cancellation policy also applies to members using free classes included in their organizational membership.
